The Bullet Hopper (Post Jam Update & Discord!)


Thank you all for rating and playing the game!
I've had a blast making it and I'm glad the majority of you enjoyed it!

I decided to add some quality of life improvement to the game and some bug fixes...

  Content of the post jam update:

  • Fixed the buffer jump making it more consistent
  • Camera movement is now more dependent on the player's position
  • Precise Timer and start at movement
  • You can now change guns without destroying the traveling bullets
  • Big buff for the Homing, faster reload and more powerful in general
  • Bullets hitboxes are now bigger which buffs Bridge by a lot
  • No more "ghost bullet" (at least I hope)
  • Keyboard layout switch option added : European <-> American
  • Bunny hop can now only be done towards one direction!
  • Reload is now dependent on the last weapon used and not on the current one you're holding. Before that you could fire an impact and have the reload speed of a bridge by switching to the bridge, now you won't be able to.

Future plans

I think the game has a lot of potentials, and I dare say that because I'm not the only one to say so. Which is why I choose to keep working on it and making it into a commercial release. Big plan I know but I think it's doable.

Here's what should be coming in that big release:

  • Art overhaul with my own assets
  • New guns!
  • Level Editor
  • Complex Ghost system
  • Complex leaderboard system with rewards
  • Controller Support
  • Key Binding
  • Around 30 levels to try hard with a nicer difficulty curves and tutorial
  • A hub containing all those levels!
